Since 2017, Lemon Street Market’s #GiveLocal register round-up program has helped shoppers support local nonprofits one purchase at a time. The initiative raised more than $19,000 last year for six Lancaster County organizations, with 100 percent of donations benefiting featured nonprofit partners.

All year long, customers can simply elect to “round up” their grocery or kitchen café totals to the nearest dollar or they can choose to add an even larger custom amount at checkout. Featured nonprofit organizations rotate every two months throughout the year, giving customers an easy way to support a variety of local causes while shopping. The program demonstrates how small contributions can create a meaningful impact across the community.

As a locally owned full-service grocery store, Lemon Street Market also supports more than 150 local farmers and vendors. The market emphasizes sustainable and healthy living through a wide selection of local, organic, vegan and gluten-free products.
