Following a summer hiatus, Feldenkrais, Awareness Through Movement classes will resume at 11 a.m. on August 5, 2026, at the Susquehanna Dance Center, in Mountville. Held each Wednesday, the hourlong classes offer participants an opportunity to learn how to gently explore movement lessons designed to improve flexibility, focus and overall well-being.

Each class focuses on a different developmental movement pattern inspired by a baby’s first year of growth. Through guided exploration, participants often discover new ways of moving with greater ease and efficiency. In addition to improved flexibility, benefits may include enhanced energy, better posture, increased attention span and greater comfort in daily activities.

Regular participants report improved recovery from injuries, greater coordination and power in recreational activities and renewed creative energy for artistic pursuits.

Participants are encouraged to wear socks and flexible clothing. Classes are fragrance-free, and attendees are asked to place cell phones on airplane mode and refrain from wearing smartwatches or other digital devices.

Cost: $15 per class, payable by cash or check; free parking is available. Location: 120 College Ave., Ste. 120, Mountville. For more information, call 717-898-3359 or visit FeldenkraisBlog.net.
