Homefields Care Farm is celebrating its 27th season by expanding the ways community members can access fresh, organically grown food through its 2026 CSA program.
This year, the Millersville nonprofit is introducing monthly no-fee payment plans designed to make CSA membership more attainable for families throughout the region. Members also benefit from stable seasonal pricing with no increases after enrollment, along with flexible participation options including three share sizes, weekly or biweekly pickups and fully customizable CSA boxes.
To further increase accessibility, Homefields allows new members to join after the season begins with prorated pricing and offers box-share options for those unable to regularly visit the farm. Membership also includes access to pick-your-own fields featuring herbs, flowers and seasonal produce. Pick-your-own passes are available for the 24-week season.
New CSA members are invited to participate in farmer-led tours that introduce families to the farm, its growing practices and its community-centered mission. In addition to providing organic produce, Homefields creates meaningful vocational and community opportunities for individuals with disabilities and others facing barriers to traditional employment.
