A Summer Solstice Celebration will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on June 13, 2026, at The Yoga Place, in Ephrata. Led by instructor Lynn Keisel, this workshop will explore the yogic tradition of 108 sun salutations.
“In yoga, 108 represents wholeness, connection and natural cycles,” explains owner Kami Kiritsis. “Practicing 108 sun salutations is used as a seasonal reset honoring sun energy while building strength and mindfulness.” The practice is intended as a transition into summer, supporting mental and physical renewal through breath and movement.
Participants are invited to mark the longest day of the year through this rhythmic flow designed to build heat and support moving meditation through breath and repetition. While the salutations are physically engaging, modifications, rest and individual pacing will be encouraged. Attendees may complete all 108 or move at a personal pace, focusing on presence over performance.
Cost: $25 or free for unlimited members. Location: 9 Hahnstown Rd., Ephrata. For more information or to register, call 484-854-1271 or visit TheYogaPlaceInEphrata.com/workshops.
