Dog owners seeking outdoor activity for their pets can find summer enrichment at Godfrey’s Welcome to Dogdom, in Mohnton. Located on a multi-acre campus, Godfrey’s includes a canine learning center, retail shop and multiple play areas for members that are designed for safe, outdoor play.

“We have two beautiful parks for off-leash play. Our 1-acre Inky’s Run is for the big dogs—30 pounds and over—and we have a quarter-acre for dogs under 30 pounds. There are toys, shaded rest areas and plastic pools for cooling down. Our play area is double gated for entrance and exit safety,” explains owner Barb Emmett. “It’s a great place to practice training off-leash or to simply build the bond with your dog while hanging out in a beautiful, secure space.”

Membership packages are available, and proof of current health records is required for park entry. In addition to the outdoor play areas, Godfrey’s hosts training, nose work and agility classes led by Megan Esherick of The Clever Hound, along with puppy classes taught by a certified Godfrey’s trainer. They also feature a retail selection of toys, food, treats and supplements, as well as nutrition counseling designed to support dogs’ long-term health, wellness and development.
