Dr. Thomas Heath & Dr. Darlene Heath

What first drew you to chiropractic care?

Dr. Tom: My interest in health and well-being started as early as fourth grade. Chiropractic felt like a natural extension of that passion. It’s also part of my family—my father became a chiropractor just before I entered chiropractic college, and even my great-grandfather practiced chiropractic.

Dr. Darlene: I always knew I wanted to work in health care. I initially considered becoming a veterinarian, but through prayer and reflection, I found chiropractic. It’s become a true family calling—my sister and I went through chiropractic school together, and now two of our sons and a daughter-in-law are chiropractors as well.

How would you describe your approach to care?

We’ve always been drawn to natural health care and a holistic approach—long before it became mainstream. Over time, we expanded our training to better support the whole person: mind, body, spirit and energetics —including how stress, energy regulation and the nervous system impact health.

Many patients come to us after exhausting other options. Our goal is to offer a comprehensive, integrative approach that restores hope—especially for concerns that may have been overlooked or dismissed.

What does whole-person wellness look like in your practice?

We begin with foundational factors like sleep, nutrition, emotional health, toxin exposure and stress levels. From there, we integrate advanced tools and techniques such as chiropractic adjustments, applied kinesiology, Quantum Neurology and Neuro Emotional Technique.

We also utilize technologies like thermography and Qest4 scanning, along with lab testing and imaging, to identify underlying imbalances—often before they become more serious. This proactive approach allows us to guide patients toward lasting healing and vitality.

What patterns do you commonly see in patients?

Women often put their own health last while caring for others, which can allow issues to progress over time. Men, on the other hand, frequently delay seeking care, hoping symptoms will resolve on their own.

In both cases, early intervention can make a significant difference—saving time, reducing stress and improving outcomes.

What is most important for women to understand about their health?

Prioritizing your health isn’t selfish—it’s essential. When women take care of themselves, they’re better able to support the people they love. We’re here to help guide that journey and address the foundational elements that lead to lasting wellness. There is hope. You can feel vibrant and well again.

How does your philosophy differ from traditional healthcare models?

Much of modern health care focuses on managing symptoms. We take a different approach—seeking out and addressing root causes.

Our goal is to restore natural function, support longevity and help patients achieve a high quality of life—not just temporarily, but for years to come.

Final Thoughts

At Heath Chiropractic and Wellness, care goes beyond treating symptoms. It’s about uncovering deeper imbalances, restoring the body’s innate intelligence and empowering patients to take an active role in their health. The result is not just relief—but renewed energy, resilience and a path toward lifelong well-being.
