Trauma-Sensitive Fitness Sessions for Mind-Body Wellness

Julia Veser, LCSW, is now offering trauma-informed fitness sessions designed to support women seeking a holistic approach to healing and personal strength. Combining principles of mental health therapy with personalized fitness training, these sessions provide a safe, compassionate environment where participants can rebuild trust in their bodies while cultivating emotional resilience.

Each session blends aerobic movement, Pilates, yoga and strength training with opportunities for emotional processing and self-awareness. Veser, a licensed clinical therapist and certified personal trainer, guides women through movement practices that prioritize safety, empowerment and autonomy—especially for those navigating the impacts of complex trauma. 

“These sessions are especially supportive for women who feel disconnected from their bodies; prefer a mindful and gentle fitness approach; or are working through stress, anxiety, burnout or patterns shaped by past experiences,” notes Veser. Participants receive individualized plans tailored to enhancing physical fitness, improving emotional regulation and deepening mind-body connection.
