 Natural Awakenings Lancaster-Berks

Find Light in Stillness This Winter Solstice

West End Yoga Studio, in Lancaster, will host a Winter Solstice Sensory Immersion from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on December 20, 2025, to honor the year’s shortest day and longest night. Rooted in the ancient recognition of the sun’s symbolic death and rebirth, this reflective experience invites participants to journey inward, find stillness and welcome the returning light.

Special guests Tommy Miller, Heather Hanko and Jenn PageWise will lead the event with a blend of restorative yoga, reiki, yoga nidra and sound healing. Miller will guide participants through a grounding restorative yoga sequence while Hanko offers reiki—hands-on or hands-off—and PageWise fills the space with the tones of gongs, singing bowls and chimes. According to the facilitators, these practices can clear stagnant energy, quiet the mind and create space for renewal.

A communal Yule altar will invite shared intention and the exchange of symbolic items, celebrating the interconnected light within all. The goal is for participants to leave feeling centered, restored and infused with clarity and hope.

Cost: $30. Location: 221 W. Walnut St., Lancaster. For more information, call 717-406-9681. To register, visit WestEndYogaStudio.com.
