Many health issues affecting women today such as irregular menstruation,
infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and depression might seem like
isolated health concerns. However, Dr. Thomas Heath and Dr. Darlene Heath know
that when the body is misaligned or is exposed repeatedly to synthetic
chemicals, these interferences can disrupt the body’s natural function, leading
to a host of maladies.
The Heaths offer individualized, whole person evaluation and
cutting-edge treatments to correct root causes of many health concerns. Thomas
relates that menstrual cramps, irritability or irregular cycles are often
related to a head trauma. “When I do cranial corrections, it often helps the
pituitary gland to function better. This, in turn, often normalizes the
menstrual cycle for more regularity, less cramps and less moodiness. Poor diets
and exposure to environmental toxins such as chemicals in lawn sprays can be
traced to PCOS, infertility, depression and thyroid problems.”
Thomas and Darlene use an array of diagnostic tools such as Applied
Kinesiology, also known as muscle testing; laboratory testing; energetic
testing; thermography; and energetic resonance. Their newest diagnostic tool,
Qest4, is a bioenergetic assessment system that scans the whole body and tests
it against frequency signatures of viruses, minerals, molds, parasites and
fungi that are found in the body.
Qest4 provides a baseline showing which organs need support. “It will even
scan the teeth and the vertebrae,” Darlene notes. “Because the teeth are
connected to the organs, cavitations in a tooth can affect the corresponding
organ.” The Qest4 resonance-response process “imprints” the body’s information
through a liquid medium or laser light. These imprints, Darlene says, can
restore resonance and help bring the body into balance.
Shalom Thermography, located within Heath Chiropractic & Wellness,
offers non-invasive, proactive, breast health risk assessment. “Thermography is
able to detect inflammation and metabolic changes, and offers a proactive and
prevention-focused approach to health care,” Darlene says. “Thermography is
safe and painless. No harmful radiation enters the body and there is no painful
compression of the breasts.”
She advises that a
thermologist can see changes occurring in the breast eight to 10 years before
they would be able to be seen on a traditional X-ray mammogram. “With this
generous lead time, a woman can make many proactive changes, including using
supplementation, exercise, stress reduction, dietary changes, sleep changes and
exercise to head off potential cancer.”
Thermography is also a good
screening option and lifesaving technology for women with dense or fibrous
breasts, and for younger women. Heath provides educational resources for
doctors and technicians, as well as professional interpretation and reporting
of clinical thermograms.
This year, Thomas gained certification in Quantum Neurology. The
technique, developed and taught by George Gonzalez, DC, is a way for licensed
professionals to strengthen the nervous system by evaluating, testing and
rehabilitating major nerves throughout the body. “Through Quantum Neurology, we
can achieve what’s called ‘neurological recognition’, and can work toward
helping the body heal,” Thomas shares. “All of these comprehensive approaches
can help achieve pain-free, healthful lifestyles for the whole family.”
