Conscious evolution (CE) is the intentional influence and expression of life and material as profound forward change. Futurist and author Barbara Marx Hubbard brought greater awareness of CE into contemporary spiritual thought with her 1998 book Conscious Evolution: Awakening the Power of our Social Potential.

CE suggests that because humanity is conscious of its history and of how things evolve (evolutionary consciousness), and given the rapid pace of change in society and culture, humanity can and should choose advancement through cooperation, co-creation and sustainable practices over self-destruction through separateness, competition and ecological devastation.

More concisely, CE is the intentional governance of human change—an ethical and philosophical theme of conduct where everyone takes responsibility for the health and direction of human progress, impacting all of life on this planet and in this universe. We now have the capability to profoundly impact the universe from the macro to micro to meta.

By engaging in ongoing conscious evolution dialogues (CED), we create and perpetuate a peaceful, interconnected society indefinitely through methods that are loving and in harmony with nature and each other. CE represents a desire for each of us to contribute to the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and practical aspects of each other’s lives. The needs of the many are the needs of the few, and the needs of the few are the needs of the many. Evolution is a constant, natural process that we participate in either consciously or unconsciously, but we do participate nonetheless.

CED is an emerging immersive experience to learn about community engagement in a group setting as an accountable method of participation in the evolution of our individual and collective consciousness with purpose and the support of others. The dialogues are organized into five modules that invite us to dive deeply into personal growth and elevated qualities of conduct.

Self-Awareness: bringing to the forefront our true potential of creating and participating with conscious intent what kind of world we want to build and how we would like to participate, thus defining CE as the intentional governance of human life, nature and the material world.

Community: exploring relationships as a continuing path to self-awareness; elevating consciousness within community of self and of others; reverence for preservation of diversity of living and material energy.

Systems: looking at culture as a system of interconnected parts, patterns and processes; identifying and promulgating interrelated patterns, both external and internal, that move existential energy towards conscious evolution; honoring oneness as original cosmic architecture from authority to self-sovereignty.

Creativity and Beauty: deepening knowledge of systems of creative expression in the natural and material world; cultivating intuition; reverence for the value and evolution of aesthetics as a pathway to consciousness.

Humanity in Love: giving space and time to cultivate the elevated personal qualities in each other of refrain, equanimity, joy, preservation and conservation; knowledge of the qualities of boundlessness in lovingkindness, empathy, compassion forgiveness, tenderness, charity and goodwill.

CED integrates humanity, nature and material as one whole interconnected system. This is evolution.
