Truce Road House Offers Respite

Truce Road House is a calming and comforting place. Owner Yvonne Stoltzfus asks, “Do you find it challenging to carve out time and space to simply be in the midst of daily life? At times we need a physical place to go to be rejuvenated and cared for. The house is designed with intention and creativity.” Clients may enjoy sitting rooms for calm and reflection, while creative prompts invite taking a soulful approach to the day without external demands.

The house is available to gather a small group of friends, coworkers or family, and a nine-foot sycamore table provides ample space for crafting and creating. Lunch, coffee, tea and snacks are included. All the comforts of home are ready to enjoy. Stoltzfus notes, “We’ve thought of the details so you don’t have to. The invitation of Truce Road House is to unwind from the press of time, to step out of daily routines, to be curious with a childlike wonder and to feel nurtured.”

Rental cost is $100 per person from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Location: 17 Truce Rd., New Providence. For more information, call 717-363-3166, email [email protected] or visit TruceRoadHouse.com.
