A Berks County Earth Day celebration will be held from noon to 6 p.m., April 23, 2022, at City Park, in Reading. This all-ages, family-friendly event to educate the community about environmental awareness and living green with sustainable life practices includes ecology workshops, music, speakers, artisan vendors, wellness sessions, tasty food from local vendors and more.

Nonprofit organizations will be on hand to discuss their work, along with local artisans and poets, children’s activities such as live animal demonstrations, a historic tour of City Park and creating recycled crafts. Winners of the recycled art contest will be announced at 3 p.m.
