Celebrate Earth Day with Berks County Virtual Event

The Berks County Earth Day Committee will host a virtual Earth Day Series from April 22 through 25, 2021. Family-friendly content dedicated to educating the community and increasing awareness about sustainability and the environment will be available throughout each day.

“Environmentalism means more than just recycling and addressing pollution,” says Courtney Shober. “Making strides to be cleaner and greener is important, but this past year has given us a different perspective. During this global crisis, we are realizing more and more that actively taking care of the environment and each other is a way of life and a legacy to be passed on for the benefit and survival of our future generations.”

A live event is planned for June 13, 2021, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., at City Park, in Reading. It is subject to change depending upon health and safety conditions and permission from the City of Reading.
