Weekly Contemplative Mass at Saint James Episcopal Church

St. James Episcopal
Saint James Episcopal Church, located in Lancaster, holds a weekly Sunday evening contemplative mass at 5 p.m. in the chapel that is free of charge and open to everyone, regardless of faith background.
Contemplative mass is an intimate, quiet, reflective service that incorporates stillness and silence and draws from the great spiritual wisdom of Jesus in the gospels. Holy teaching and sacred music of other faith traditions are also explored. Seekers of all ages are invited to come as they are, adopt the posture that’s most comfortable (yoga mats are welcome; chairs are available) and allow themselves to enter into a very different experience of God and Holy Communion.
Location: 119 N. Duke St., Lancaster. For more information, contact Kimberlee Peifer, associate for contemplative prayer & practices, at 717-397-4858, ext. 126, or email at Kimberlee@SaintJamesLancaster.org. For more information, visit Tinyurl.com/SaintJamesContemplativeMass.
