Celebrate Winter at the Reading Fire + Ice Fest

Returning to downtown Reading for its fifth yearthe Reading Fire + Ice Fest will kick off at 5:30 p.m., January 18, in the 500 block of Penn Street. The event continues all day and evening, January 19. The family-friendly festival will feature a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including a chili cook-off, Snowfall Ball, professional ice-carving competitions, fire performances, live music and concession stands.  

 

Produced and organized by the the Reading Downtown Improvement District​ and funded in large part by Berks County Community Foundation​, the event is a fun way to enjoy outdoor winter activities and warm up with indoor activities as well. 

 

Berks County Community Foundation was founded in 1994 to help individuals, families, organizations and businesses achieve their charitable objectives and improve the quality of life for the residents of Berks County.
