Heather Dempsey’s healing hands and heart bring transformation, growth and joy to clients. “Many people are struggling and unhappy,” says Dempsey. “They are trying all they can to fix their problems, but it feels like they are spinning their wheels or running into a wall.”  

Dempsey’s eclectic integrative life coaching and workshop style has been crafted from more than 22 years of experience. The multiple techniques she utilizes include: yoga, meditation and yoga nidra; sound therapy; Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping; crystal healing; aromatherapy; flower essences; emotion and belief clearing; energy healing therapies; and reiki. Dempsey’s reiki lineage is four steps away from the level of the reiki founder. She has different attunements that enhance the traditional level of reiki.  

Dempsey explains that one of her energy healing therapies called Heart Space Bliss utilizes a combination of techniques that unveil insights and bring about healing for clients. She creates a comfortable and safe environment by infusing unconditional love into each session. During a consultation, the client provides details about challenges being faced and desired changes or outcomes. 

Following the conversation, Dempsey specifically selects crystals according to desired results, using her educational experience as well as her intuition after conversing with the client. The client lays face-down on the massage table and crystals are placed along the body. Dempsey utilizes both the energy from the crystals and reiki to commence the healing process. 

Once the reiki session is complete for the back, she offers a sound bath using Tibetan singing bowls and quartz crystal singing bowls. The sound resonates with healing for the individual. 

“Quartz singing bowls amplify the healing ability of the other crystals, so they stay in place during the bowl session,” explains Dempsey. The crystals are then removed and set aside, allowing the client to hold or work with a particular crystal, even purchasing one if interested.  

With grounding stones at the client’s feet, Dempsey provides reiki from the heart chakra through the throat chakra to the third eye and crown chakras as a way of rooting and deeply grounding the person so that they can release energetic debris, and then rest and rise when they are ready.  

Discussion about what came up for the client, as well as what insights Dempsey gained during the session are invited. Even if a client does not share, Dempsey notices a shifting that has taken place. “The customized sessions are incredibly effective, liberating and transformational,” she notes.
