The Rafiki Africa Foundation is a nonprofit organization that envisions a community in which individuals and families have the hope and capacity to build and manage conditions that promote optimum health. “By hope, we mean the belief that life is able to be different than it is now. This is not a given in our community,” explains Dorothy Dulofoundation director. “By capacity, we mean the ability to create change in life. People with skills, education and good credit have more capacity than those without them. We know that this leads to lastingspiritual, emotional, economic, social, physical and environmental transformation.
