A grand opening celebration will be held at Alternative Healing of PA, at 2846 Willow Street Pike, in Willow Street, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., September 1. Attendees can meet the therapists and get free mini chair massages; the first 25 people win door prizes and goodie bags. 

Owner Amy Reed, LMT, has more than 20 years of experience in the alternative healing field and specializes in intuitive energy work, therapeutic massage and wellness. “Everyone deserves to feel their best. Alternative therapies and products help us with that goal. We strive to bring the best of both to the community,” says Reed.  

Joining Reed is Julie Whitecomb, LMT and certified health coach. From nutrition and exercise to full body wellness, she helps guide individuals to meet their wellness needs. 

The retail store carries natural, organic and pure ingredient products ranging from soaps, lotions and salves to Himalayan salt products, oils and crystals,
