Spice Up Winter with Products and Classes from Zest!

Sharon Landis

Zest!, a specialty cooking and kitchen supply store located in Lititz, features carefully chosen local, small-batch, artisan spices, sauces, mixes and kitchen gear to take winter cooking and meal preparation to a new level. Over 100 premium spices are sourced from an independent Pennsylvania spice dealer who is emphatic about quality. Choose from Lititz-made Aunt Mary’s Marinara Sauce; Harrowgate Curds––lemon, raspberry, orange and lime––from Lancaster County; or jams, mustards and shrubs made by Tait Farms, in State College, to add freshness and flavor to recipes.

Cutting boards intricately handcrafted by Lititz-resident Bob Singer, as well as Pennsylvania Black Cherry wooden spoons, ladles and tongs, help home chefs efficiently prepare and finish dishes. Cooking classes are scheduled regularly for children and adults.

“Supporting local businesses, and shopping small year-round is a good investment in local communities. Zest! donates to local charities, provides jobs for your friends and neighbors, pays local taxes and purchases products from local vendors,” describes Sharon Landis, owner. “A gift card for a cooking class or to use in the store, chosen for someone who loves to cook or is just learning, is a great gift any time of the year. There is something at Zest! for everyone.”
