Tarot as a Tool for Personal and Spiritual Growth with Karen Carnabucci
Dec 22, 2017 08:02AM
Karen Carnabucci, an alternative psychotherapist in Lancaster, will teach Introduction to Tarot, an interactive class, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., January 6, and a four-part series, The Magic of the Tarot, on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon, beginning February 17, at Radiance.
“This is one of many options that people have to grow spiritually,” suggests Carnabucci. “People who have always wanted to learn the symbolism of the Tarot and have wanted to seek out a quality teacher, as well as people who are seeking pathways for alternative personal growth or want to refine their intuition, would make excellent participants.”
Tarot is now looked upon as a tool for personal and spiritual growth, a change from the old-style way of looking at it as a means of fortune telling. An October 2017 article in The New York Times reports that greater numbers of people are interested in the Tarot and greater numbers and styles of Tarot card decks are being printed and published.
Carnabucci has worked with the Tarot for 30 years, uses it for personal growth, spiritual expansion and refining intuition, and enjoys sharing how the images can heal, refresh and inform. She teaches classes, leads personal growth groups on ancestor healing, creativity and other topics, and sees a limited number of one-to-one clients.
