GoggleWorks Center for the Arts Presents the 6th Annual Arts Festival Reading

GoggleWorks Center for the Arts presents Arts Festival Reading, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., October 7 and 8, in Reading. Arts Festival Reading, now in its sixth year, is the culmination of GoggleWorks’ mission to nurture the arts, foster creativity, promote education and enrich the community. The two-day festival will feature almost 100 of the region’s finest artists and craft vendors, live music, local foods and craft beer. Live demonstrations in a variety of techniques and mediums will be presented throughout the campus, including ceramics, glassblowing, virtual reality and woodworking.

Attendees can find unique, handcrafted items just in time for the holidays, see how things are made firsthand and explore one of the largest, most comprehensive arts centers in the country.

In conjunction with Reading Blues Fest, GoggleWorks will present a live performance by Blind Boy Paxton, at 1 p.m., on October 8.
