 Natural Awakenings Lancaster-Berks

Corn Roast at Lemon Street Market with Oasis at Bird-in-Hand

A Corn Roast will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., August 5, at Lemon Street Market, in Lancaster, featuring the finest corn Lancaster County has to offer––chemical-free from untreated, non-GMO seeds. Oasis at Bird-in-Hand is providing the butter for the event. Available options are to eat in or take home.

Oasis at Bird-in-Hand makes butter on their premises from grass-fed milk that comes from a collective of Lancaster County farmers who use chemical-free and certified-organic growing techniques, to build the nutrient content of their soil, in order to grow healthy plants, which feed healthy animals and in turn result in healthful food.

Lemon Street Market is a full-service grocery store, open seven days a week, with a focus on sustainable and healthy living, stocking many local, organic, vegan and gluten-free options. Patricia Haverstick, owner of Abundant Earth, LLC, and her team, strive to cultivate food, health and community. This cultivation is made possible by working together for healthy living and a healthy planet.
