Karen Carnabucci, a licensed clinical social worker and board-certified master trainer, educator and practitioner in psychodrama, sociometry and group psychotherapy, is bringing an intriguing menu of alternative psychotherapies to the people and professionals of Lancaster County. Carnabucci practices and teaches experiential psychotherapies and alternative change processes, including psychodrama and family constellations. Weekly personal growth groups include Unfolding Love, which explores ancestral energies and how they may impact lives today, plus other interactive gatherings that employ the creative arts and other lesser-known but proven methods that are alternatives to traditional talk therapy. 

“Healing and change happen on multiple levels,” shares Carnabucci. “Many times we focus on the thinking part—trying to think our way out of a situation—which takes us only so far. These newer ways access the knowing of our heart. For those who are ready, these methods are gentle and profoundly effective ways of creating deep change in our lives.” 

The personal growth groups are open to all who are interested in alternative ways of healing and change. Professional training classes are geared to helping professionals, educators and advanced students, and offer CE credits.  

Carnabucci has written several books, including Integrating Systemic Constellation Work and Psychodrama: New Directions for Action Methods, Mind-Body Healing and Energy Therapies.
