Nov 28, 2016 08:50AM
A Therapeutic Effect, located in Mountville, will host an Everyday Essentials Drive to benefit Water Street Rescue Mission. A Christmas Stocking Tree will be on display at A Therapeutic Effect from November 28 to December 23. People are encouraged to take a stocking off the tree and fill it with everyday essential items. Once all the stockings have been filled, the staff will donate them for the people staying at the Water Street Rescue Mission.
The Everyday Essentials donation list includes personal care items, such as: toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, socks, tissues, deodorant, shaving cream, shampoo, shoe laces, towels, lip balm, hair brushes, baby wipes, baby shampoo, baby diaper cream, diapers, diaper bags, bottles, bottle brushes, pacifiers and feminine hygiene products.
Water Street Rescue Mission provides the tools to people experiencing homelessness so they have hope for a better life. This begins with a meal and shelter, and unfolds differently for each person seeking help. All guests have access to medical, dental, behavioral health, spiritual and career support while on campus.
A Therapeutic Effect provides an array of services performed by licensed professionals, serving health to the greater Lancaster area.
