Caramel Sauce Now Available at Misty Creek Goat Dairy

Misty Creek Goat Dairy, located in Leola, announced the addition of caramel sauce to its array of specialty goat milk products. The caramel sauce is made with only three ingredients: goat’s milk, pure, organic cane sugar and baking soda. It is available for purchase in 2-, 4- and 8-ounce sizes.
Owned and operated by Amos and Becky Miller and their family since 2003, Misty Creek’s caramel recipe was developed and perfected by Becky. Keeping with the family tradition of working together, daughters Becca, Fannie and Sylvia take part by helping to jar and label the sauce.
“The caramel sauce pairs well with fine artisanal cheeses, apples and other fresh fruit, nuts and ice cream––even just a spoon and your imagination,” enthuses Amos. “This is the time of year to add something new and delicious to holiday fare. Our caramel sauce is a wonderful addition to time-honored holiday recipes.”
Misty Creek specializes in over a dozen cheeses, as well as goat’s milk soap, for sale at the farm and in select markets. Cheeses include raw goat cheese, Misty Lovely—a feta-style cheese—raw cow’s milk cheese and mixed-milk cheeses, all aged 60 days.
