 Natural Awakenings Lancaster-Berks

Kudos

David Schwartz, doctor of dental surgery and Las Vegas Institute of Dental Studies Fellow, participated in an extensive, six-day advanced training course, at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, to further his neuromuscular dentistry training and improve his skills at diagnosing, preventing and treating severe cases of temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD), cranial cervical dysfunction, headache and cervical neck issues.

Treating neuromuscular problems includes using physical therapy to restore and allow the body to return to its natural physiological state, without prescribing drugs. The training consisted of presentations, as well as hands-on physical therapy practice, trigger point injections and more detailed ways of reading x-rays and CT images.

Schwartz’s Family and Cosmetic Dentistry office provides general, cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry, as well as orthodontics.
