Renewal Kombucha Grand Re-Opening Celebration

Renewal Kombucha, owned by Jeremy Sayer, in downtown Lititz, is expanding its shop to include a 40-Mile Market, with locally produced, healthy foods. Items sold at the market will include fermented foods, granola, gluten-free and vegan snacks, and bulk organic staple foods. The grand re-opening event, scheduled from noon to 5 p.m., April 23, will include live music and entertainment, and local food makers will be on hand to offer food samples and answer questions.

Sayer, who is the chief brewer, shares that Renewal Kombucha will also be expanding its production area to include three, 150-gallon fermenting tanks. The Renewal Kombucha Taproom and 40-Mile Market will be a place for people who value eating local and clean eating.

Renewal Kombucha tea is brewed using organic ingredients, with a combination of dried tea leaves and herbs, sweetened with evaporated cane sugar, and fermented using a living culture of yeast and probiotic bacteria. Known to be good for the body, its health benefits include aiding digestion, boosting the immune system and enhancing mental functioning. After the fermentation process is complete, kombucha contains low levels of sugar and caffeine, while retaining the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of its ingredients.
