 Natural Awakenings Lancaster-Berks

Kleen Acres Farm Educational Experience

Patty McKonly welcomes campers to Kleen Acres Farm, in Columbia, to learn about the care and feeding of alpacas, chickens and a camel. Campers will experience working on a real farm by placing a halter on an alpaca, feeding a camel, collecting eggs, participating in a hay ride, jumping in a hay mow and more. The animals are friendly and willing to be handled. Camp experience is by appointment only.

Kleen Acres Farm is an eight-acre farm conveniently located in the beautiful hills of the Susquehanna River, between Lancaster, York and Harrisburg. McKonly breeds friendly alpacas with luxurious fleece that is warmer and lighter than wool, softer than cashmere and hypo-allergenic.

Farm services include breeding, barn layout suggestions, farm management tips,  ongoing customer support and sales of feed, pine shavings and free range eggs. There is also a gift shop to purchase alpaca products, teas, spices and farm honey.
