A Therapeutic Effect, a natural health and wellness center that offers chiropractic care, massage therapy, colonics and spa services, marks its seventh year in business in August with a few new additions, including bringing Scott Sterner on staff as director of marketing. Sterner will promote A Therapeutic Effect’s commitment to educating the community and raising awareness about health and wellness. As part of this initiative, he is working with area schools and local businesses and participating in community events and expos.

Founded by Andrew Ashton, a chiropractic doctor, and his wife, Sue, a massage therapist, A Therapeutic Effect also plans to expand its focus on children’s health. The facility now uses the Adjustagator, a fun, specially designed top pad for the chiropractic table that attracts children, thereby helping ease any reluctance they may have to being adjusted.
