Feldenkrais practitioner Donna Bervinchak will teach public Feldenkrais workshops throughout Lancaster County this summer and fall, including Learn Essential Ways to Develop a Healthy Back and Neck, from 1 to 3:30 p.m., May 31, at Health By Design, in Leola. The Feldenkrais Method aims to reduce pain and limitations in movement, improve physical function and promote general well-being by increasing students’ awareness of their bodies and by expanding students’ movement repertoire.

“I have been humbled over the years by seeing people change physically, mentally and emotionally in life-altering ways through Feldenkrais,” comments Bervinchak, owner of Improving Through Movement, in Lancaster. Using movement and touch, she helps active adults and children with special needs learn how to sit, stand and walk more efficiently. She teaches private Feldenkrais classes at her studio and an ongoing group class at West End Yoga.

Cost: $40. Bervinchak is available for private sessions by appointment at 717-285-0399. For full workshop schedule with details and locations, visit
