Body Zone Sports Expands Offerings with New Wellness Studio

Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex has recently opened its new Wellness Studio to broaden the facility’s wellness offerings to the community. Available for rent by wellness professionals, the Wellness Studio is located on Body Zone’s main level, a high-visibility location that welcomes more than 500,000 visitors a year. The studio will accommodate programs and services such as yoga, Reiki, specialized and couples massage therapy, Pilates, meditation and relaxation classes, lifestyle and nutrition education programs, private and small group personal training and private sales parties and demonstrations.

“The sky’s the limit with this venue,” says Laurie Schultz-Redlus, wellness services coordinator. “Our goal is to have a mix of private rentals and fee-based programs for the community. Our introductory rental rate has provided access to the studio in a very attractive way.”

Designed by local artist and designer Beth Carson, the space features a mirrored wall, hardwood floors, dimmer-controlled recessed lighting system, a sound system with CD/iPod input cable and free Wi-Fi.

Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex is a 160,000-square-foot facility in Wyomissing that houses two NHL-size ice rinks, two Sprinturf synthetic grass sports fields, a basketball/volleyball court, state-of-the-art wellness and aquatic centers, suspended running track and the Massage and Muscle Therapy Studio.

Location: 3103 Paper Mill Rd., Wyomissing. For more information on studio and rental rates, call 610-376-2100 x284, email [email protected] or visit BodyZoneSports.com/WellnessStudio. See ad on page 19.
