The Lancaster County Women’s Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., May 17, at Spooky Nook Sports, in Manheim. Local businesses will offer opportunities for women to learn, relax and be pampered.

Debbie Rutter, a representative with Clever Container, will show ingenious ways for home and car organization. Flowers by Paulette will demonstrate how to create beautiful floral arrangements, and Stauffers of Kissel Hill will instruct on how to use thrillers, fillers and spillers to transform container gardens from ordinary to amazing.

Other highlights will include a fashion show by Christopher & Banks/CJ Banks and performances by the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre of scenes from Hairspray, The Music Man, Crazy for You, and Shrek. A local winery will provide wine samples, and a Hula Hoop contest will be in full swing, with a $100 cash prize to the participant that can swing the longest.

Sponsors include the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, Heritage Floors Inc., Regional Gastroenterology of Lancaster, WHTM ABC27, Blue Ridge Communications and WDAC 94.5 FM.
