Get Your Share: Gayatri Wellness Winter CSA 2014

Gayatri Wellness, a Berks County farm with a mission to nurture community wellness through yoga, sustainable agriculture and nature therapy, is selling community share memberships for the winter harvest that will begin in January and run through April. Winter CSA Share 2014 memberships are available on a monthly basis, with opt-ins such as a Weaver’s Orchard fruit share and more.

Membership in the community supported agriculture project is designed to help everyone receive the benefit of locally grown and produced food that supports health and wellness. Convenience is assured with three pick-up locations in Berks County and a home delivery option. Cooperative partnerships developed by Gayatri Wellness with fellow farms and local artisans provide local, fresh, organic and sustainable foods every week, including Dove Song Dairy's fresh goat cheese and yogurts, Good Eatz gluten-free baked goods, Melanie’s Organic Bakery goods, Diabetic-Friendly Food Inc. nut butters, West View Farm fresh eggs and Gayatri granola.

“This is an opportunity to promote sustainability at its fullest within Berks County,” says Lucine Mackow. “We can stimulate the local economy through small business by bringing resources together to serve people. That’s why it’s called ‘get your share’. Without our members, we would not be able to make any of this happen.”
