Licensed Massage Therapist Beverly J. Wilson, owner of The Compassionate Body, which offers holistic massage for body, mind and spirit, has added three new spiritual direction associates to her staff—Ann Bach, Jane Hoober Peifer and Sharon Landis. They bring with them a wide variety of experience, from writing to nursing care and pastoral leadership. All share a passion for accompanying people on the sacred journey of life.

Bach, who serves as team leader for Hospice and Community Care, describes spiritual direction as “joining with others as they encounter the spiritual, physical and emotional response to God's activity in their daily lives.”

“A spiritual director will help you pay attention to what God is up to,” comments Peifer, a retired Mennonite pastor and the author of a series of children's books.

“It is an honor to companion others by listening deeply; together, we experience and discover where and how the energy of God is flowing,” adds Landis, who is also a writer and retreat leader for Kairos School of Spiritual Formation.
