Amazyng Style Salon, in Sinking Springs, will host its second annual Christmas Open House from 4 to 8 p.m., December 13. Guests will enjoy light fare, guest speakers, a children’s craft area and the chance to shop for holiday gifts in the adjacent boutique, Reclaimed Jewels.

Amazyng Style, an eco-friendly salon that pledges to be as chemical-free, organic, sustainable, eco-friendly and as green as possible, has added two new stylists to its staff: Lora Ocasio, a licensed cosmetologist and certified organic colorist, and Jaime Krause, also a licensed cosmetologist. Both are accepting new clients and offering a free shampoo, valued at $14, with each new client’s first appointment.

The salon uses a color line that is ammonia free, organic and vegan, and gives results equal to traditional color, but without the health hazards. The materials used to build the salon, as well as the cleaning products used, are eco-friendly.
