Sixth Annual Gift Fair Gives Hope

Gifts That Give Hope, the sixth annual fair focused on supporting nonprofit organizations through alternative gift giving, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., November 23, at the Farm and Home Center, in Lancaster. This year’s event welcomes 30 local, national and global nonprofit organizations that will host tables with information about their causes and missions, as well as alternative gifts for purchase; monies made from gift purchases contribute directly the nonprofits’ fundraising efforts. In addition to shopping, youth-friendly activities are planned and a number of food and beverage options from local eateries will be available.

A master shopping guide listing three gift options for each nonprofit will be handed out at the fair entrance. Two options will have a designated price and the third will allow for a customized monetary donation. A card that can be passed along to the end receiver accompanies each purchased gift

Organized by a committee of dedicated volunteers, Gifts That Give Hope has generated more than $125,000 for more than 50 local, national and global nonprofits. Alternative gifts will be available for purchase online through mid-December at GiftsThatGiveHope.org/Lancaster.
