 Natural Awakenings Lancaster-Berks

Sound Healing Sessions Offered

Andrea Wenger, a holistic healing and wellness practitioner, will lead two sessions of 90-minute sound healing in Lancaster: first at 3 p.m., June 16, at Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster and second, at 7 p.m., June 17, at Be Well Lancaster. Sound healing is a deeply transformational experience that provides relief for acute and chronic mental, emotional and physical issues, including anxiety, insomnia, poor concentration, immune system issues and emotional disorders.

Sound penetrates deeply, facilitating an extremely relaxed state in which people are able to let go, feel an enhanced spiritual connection and allow spontaneous healing to occur and inner wisdom to emerge. Sessions include using drums, rattles and crystal singing bowls, as well as vocal toning to balance the chakras, meditation and sacred singing (mantra).

Wenger, who holds a master’s degree in applied healing arts and a bachelor’s degree in community nutrition and dietetics, incorporates sound healing into her Reiki and holistic nutrition coaching practice, offering individual and group sessions.

Cost: $20. Location: June 16 at 328 W. Orange St., Lancaster; June 17 at 7 N. Mulberry St., Lancaster. For more information, call 410-566-4258 or visit AndreaWenger.com.
