Sensory Concepts Orthopedic and Medical Massage, in Leesport, a company that combines functional assessment, structural balancing work and active isolated stretching to treat pain and create healthier posture and movement in clients, has added new practitioners to its practice. As owner Sandy Wagner prepares to join the U.S. Open’s wellness team for sports event massage in June, she welcomes massage therapy extern Katie Kirshner and personal trainer Heidi Warmkessel.

Kirshner, who graduates from Berks Technical Institute Massage Therapy on May 24, is trained in reflexology, as well as therapeutic, sports, myofascial release, Swedish and deep tissue styles of massage. She will offer sessions with student pricing, Mondays through Saturdays, until May 23.

Warmkessel brings more than 15 years of experience in core and stability training to Sensory Concepts, customizing sessions to the goals of each individual.
