Women’s Expo to be Held at New Sports Complex

Lancaster County’s Women’s Expo will take place at the new Spooky Nook Sports, in Manheim, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., May 18. Women of all ages are welcome to the second annual event. More than 100 businesses will gather to share information about all aspects of women’s lives, including the latest knowledge in health and wellness. All participants are encouraged to bring blankets, chew toys, pet foods and other supplies for the Help Feed Our Furry Friends Collection; donations will be distributed to local animal rescue organizations.

Exhibit and speaker topics include personal finances, home improvement, leisure activities, technology and nutrition. Vendors will display and sell jewelry, handbags, fashions and home décor, as well as cosmetics and skincare products. Mini spa treatments will be available for guests to enjoy throughout the day. Entertainment comprises two fashion shows, a Hula Hoop contest and a mini performance of Cats! Meteorologist turned New York Times best-selling fantasy novelist, Maria V. Snyder, will sign books.

Spooky Nook is a community venue for athletic and wellness activities for families, youth and adults. It is the country’s largest indoor sports complex.
