Discreetly nestled atop a breathtaking hilltop in rural Kinzers is one of Lancaster’s hidden treasures: Inshanti Wellness Spa, which integrates personalized spa treatments and custom aromatherapy services. “Enhancing the outer appearance while creating inner well-being is at the heart and soul of everything we offer,” explains owner Deb Stoltzfus, a licensed cosmetologist and nationally certified aromatherapist. “We want every client to feel restored and rejuvenated from the inside out, and we are purposeful in using only natural, non-toxic products.”

At Inshanti, Stoltzfus combines her impressive background and experience with state-of-the-art technology to deliver the spa’s enticing treatments. In a private setting designed for relaxation and renewal, Inshanti offers 14 signature facials customized for skin type, microcurrent facial toning, lymphatic drainage, reflexology and makeovers using non-toxic make-up formulas. Her bestselling Cabernet Peel Facial is a chemical-free solution that packs the same power as traditional, but potentially damaging, chemical peels; Stoltzfus’ safe formulation addresses wrinkles, acne and discoloration. Inshanti’s popular microcurrent treatments use electrical impulses to quickly yield the appearance of tightened, toned and firmed skin.

Stoltzfus applied her extensive studies in aromatherapy to formulate her own essential oil blends for cosmetic and therapeutic use. She researches and evaluates farmers around the world to locate the purest and finest distilled oils and then personally crafts the perfume-free products she uses for spa treatments and offers online.

Stoltzfus’ passion for purity can be attributed to her love of science, her nurturing personality and her extensive studies under renowned masters such as Dr. Raphael d’Angelo, one of the first physicians to be board certified in holistic medicine. Stoltzfus has also studied with Howard Freund and Kurt Schnaubelt, both doctors of chemistry, and Rhiannon Harris, a registered general nurse and member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists. Stoltzfus remains an active researcher and was recently elected to the board of directors of the Alliance of International Aromatherapists.

Inshanti also offers private essential oil consultations. A one-hour appointment includes two handcrafted oils custom-blended for each client.

Location: 48 Slaymaker Hill Rd., Kinzers. Appointments are required. For more information, call 717-587-3990 or visit Inshanti.com
