Recently opened by Tia Mazy and Sandi Krick, Amazyng Style and Reclaimed Jewels is Berks County’s first eco-friendly salon and green boutique. The salon offers modern and classic haircuts and styles along with organic color, applied by certified stylists. Like the haircare products, the cosmetics are made from safe, natural ingredients and are free of harmful synthetic chemicals. Reclaimed Jewels sells personal accessories and home décor items that are made from recycled, re-purposed, sustainable and vintage materials.

During the process of remodeling their building, Mazy and Krick made every attempt to preserve its authenticity. Planet-conscious products were used to refashion and modernize it, and energy-efficient LED lights and eco-friendly Marmoleum natural linoleum flooring were installed throughout the salon. The outdoor gardens are watered with rainwater collected in barrels installed by the owners.
