5 Fresh Takes on Jazz: Emerging Women Composers
The first concert series of its kind in southcentral PA, which continues Sunday, June 11, is bringing five gifted women composers to Mickey's Black Box at Rock Lititz.
Dynamic soloist and composer Gina Benalcazar will bring her straight-ahead jazz quintet to Mickey's Black Box at Rock Lititz on Sunday, June 11 at 3pm.
The imaginative trombonist, who is releasing her first album in June, will be joined by Seth Ebersole on sax, Colin Mekeel on piano, Joe Plowman on bass and Austin Wagner on drums.
The show at the Rock Lititz venue will be the third in the series “5 Fresh Takes on Jazz: Emerging Women Composers in Concert.”
