Explore Native Plants and Sustainable Living at MT Earth Fest
MT Earth Fest and Native Plant Sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 25, 2026, at the Overlook Activity Center, in Lancaster. Formerly known as the Lancaster Native Plant and Wildlife Festival, the free, rain-or-shine event highlights sustainability, native plants and environmental education through a partnership between the Manheim Township Recreation Department, Manheim Township School District and Habitat Manheim Township.
Attendees can explore a native plant sale featuring multiple regional nurseries, browse an Earth-Centered Makers Market and connect with local conservation organizations. The event will also feature eco-focused speakers, wildlife presentations from Raven Ridge Wildlife Rehabilitators, food trucks, raffle prizes and a recycling drive. Families can enjoy hands-on children’s crafts and activities hosted by Lancaster Creative Reuse and other local partners.
Organizers invite the community to celebrate environmental stewardship while learning about the benefits of native plants for local ecosystems. Nearby locations in the Manheim Township park system—including Overlook Park, Landis Woods and Stauffer Mansion—feature examples of native plant gardens that support pollinators and wildlife.
