Celebrate Community and Sustainability at Earth Day Berks
The annual Earth Day Berks celebration will take place from noon to 6 p.m. on April 18, 2026, at City Park, in Reading. Recognized as the largest Earth Day event in Berks County, this free, family-friendly gathering brings the community together to celebrate environmental stewardship and explore ways to live more sustainably.
Attendees can connect with dozens of local organizations, businesses and environmental groups working to make a positive impact in the region. The day features children’s crafts and activities, live animal exhibits, musical performances, Native American dances and storytelling, and educational displays focused on conservation and eco-conscious living. Visitors can also enjoy food from local vendors, including vegetarian and vegan options.
The celebration offers opportunities for individuals and families to learn practical steps they can take to support a healthier planet while connecting with others that share a commitment to environmental responsibility.
