 Natural Awakenings Lancaster-Berks

Fair Trade for the Holidays

Felted Wool Ornaments

As the holiday season approaches, Radiance/Herbs from the Labyrinth wants to showcase their mindful product selection. Owner Sarah Preston says, “At Radiance, we believe in the importance of fair trade products. That’s why we work to source our products in an ethical and sustainable manner to ensure that you can receive high-quality products handmade by fairly paid artisans.”

They sell fair trade sweaters, hats and gloves hand-knit in Peru and Nepal, and felted gnome ornaments and finger puppets, with larger sizes for tabletop arrangements. They also offer cashmere ponchos, alpaca ruanas and socks, recycled silk wraps, bells and windchimes from India and Nepal, hand-woven baskets from Ghana, bronze sculptures from Burkina Faso, goddess statues made in India and more. In addition to fair trade items, patrons will find many handmade options such as earrings from Lancaster’s Erica Millner, as well as silk camisoles and pillowcases dyed with plants by Sarah Preston.

Location: 13 W. Grant St., Lancaster. For more information, call 717-290-1517, email [email protected] or visit HerbsFromTheLabyrinth.com.
