Round Up at the Register for Charity
Lemon Street Market customers can round up at the register throughout
2023 on a bimonthly basis to support local nonprofit organizations
(#GiveLocal). In 2022, Lemon Street Market’s #GiveLocal campaign raised more
than $15,000.
Team member Brooke Magni says, “By shopping at Lemon Street
Market, patrons directly support 150 local farmers and vendors, and dozens more
through local distributors like Lancaster Farm Fresh, Oasis and Four Seasons.
For each dollar spent at a local family-owned business, 80 percent is put back
into the local economy. For every dollar you spend at large corporate-owned
stores, only 20 percent makes it back into the local economy.”
