Certified personal trainer Colleen Schmidt is set to release her DVD, Fitness For the Limited, as a safe guide to building an exercise program for individuals experiencing physical limitations due to weight gain, age or injury. Schmidt, who also has a background in dance, yoga instruction and rehabilitative training, created the program to facilitate strength, movement and balance by employing postures and breathing techniques that teach awareness and proper form to everyone, regardless of experience or ability.

Fitness For the Limited was designed to allow an individually paced, enjoyable workout. Schmidt’s mission is to enhance the independence of those with special needs, using the mind/body connection as the foundation.
