The Colour of Culture Art Show

FunTimes Magazine believes this inaugural event “The Colour of Culture” will enrich the neighborhood of West Philadelphia. It gives exposure to visual artists by providing a platform to celebrate local leaders in the Philadelphia cultural economy. Other activities include a live music showcase and cypher lounge with Milena & friends of Solfed Open Mic, a round table discussion on Black Arts and Liberation, a custom vintage clothing shop by Rashied Amon of the Black Culture Museum, paired with Sounds of the Diaspora with DJ Reezey. Last but not least, we will be featuring "Brown St. Cafe" which is a Black owned coffee brand tasting by ZBE coffee paired with artwork by Nile Livingston. FunTimes Magazine began operating in Philadelphia, PA, over ten years ago. We celebrate African, Caribbean, and African American communities in the Delaware Valley. Until the end of March 2020, FunTimes was a 100-page, print magazine maintaining an online presence with about 2.4k likes and a 19K monthly user reach on Facebook. Because of the pandemic, we shifted 100% online. FunTimes has since gained over 61K likes and reached 1.7 million people in the last 28 days on Facebook.
