Did you know that microplastics can be found in our creeks, tap and bottled water, and beer?! Manada Conservancy will host an online program, “The Perils of Plastic,” on Thursday, February 25, at 7:00 pm. Our speaker, cutting-edge plastic pollution researcher Dr. Sherri Mason, will discuss the proliferation of plastics in our society, its emergence as one of the most prominent environmental pollutants, and the prevalence of microplastics in freshwater systems.
