This class is intended for Health Care Providers and includes the standard Reiki I agenda plus Reiki research, nursing theory related to energy work and the use of Reiki in nursing practice. Please note that although this class was created for healthcare providers, anyone can attend. Shoden means beginning the path of self-discovery. This class has a strong focus on self-care techniques for reducing stress and promoting empowerment. You will learn the Reiki precepts, which are essential elements of Reiki practice, the history of Reiki, techniques and meditations and how to practice Reiki on yourself and others. This two day class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Many students find themselves undergoing positive personal changes and spiritual growth, which can be very powerful and rewarding.
